Self-referral
If you are a Deaf, Deafblind, Hard of Hearing or Deafened adult navigating a hard season, you can refer yourself. There is no formal assessment. Just tell us a little about what you are facing and how we might help.

Strength in Fragments CIC is Deaf-led and shaped by lived experience, created from the real gaps in communication and care that affected both my own cancer journey and my Deaf sister's life.
Whether you are reaching out for yourself or on behalf of someone else, you are welcome here. This page explains how to make a referral to Strength in Fragments CIC.
BSL videos are being added throughout July–August 2026.
We are currently adding BSL videos across the website to make our content even more accessible. Thank you for your patience while we update. Follow us on YouTube for BSL updates.
We accept self-referrals from Deaf adults and referrals from health practitioners, social workers, support workers and community organisations.
If you are a Deaf, Deafblind, Hard of Hearing or Deafened adult navigating a hard season, you can refer yourself. There is no formal assessment. Just tell us a little about what you are facing and how we might help.
If you work with someone who would benefit from gentle support, you can email us a short confirmation on their behalf. This can be a brief letter, email or note from someone who knows their situation.
Strength in Fragments CIC was created from lived experience; navigating cancer, trauma, and the loss of my Deaf sister, whose life was shaped by years of communication barriers and inaccessible support. As a Deaf person, I've seen first-hand how gaps in communication and care can deepen distress and isolation.
This CIC exists to change that.
Our work is Deaf-led, trauma-informed, and shaped by what it truly feels like to need accessible support, space to breathe, and gentle, low-pressure care. We offer practical tools, creative wellbeing kits, and supportive contact that respects Deaf communication and individual needs.
Professionals can refer knowing that every part of our approach is grounded in lived experience, safety, dignity, and the belief that Deaf people deserve support that honours both the hard moments and the joy of living fully.
A short, gentle form. Everything you share is kept private and read with care.
Our founder is Deaf, so we do not take phone calls. Email is our home, and BSL videos are warmly welcomed.
hello@strengthinfragments.ukWe will read your email carefully and reply within a few days. There is no urgency in our inbox.
If a Care Box feels right, we will arrange a quiet, accessible delivery. Other services, such as creative kits or grounding tools, can be shared by post or email too.
We bring everything to life slowly and gently, and we will keep you informed at every step.
