Who this retreat is for

Deaf people living with cancer

Time to rest, reconnect, and feel supported.

Families and carers

Gentle space to breathe, restore, and be held in community.

Selection process

(This retreat is part of a gentle pilot scheme, helping us learn what supports Deaf people living with cancer most effectively before we grow the programme.)

This retreat is funded to support Deaf people living with cancer, their families, carers, and members of the wider Deaf community who would benefit from rest and connection.

Places are limited. We prioritise:

  • Deaf people living with cancer
  • Deaf people affected by cancer
  • Family members, friends, and carers supporting a Deaf person living with cancer

This retreat is for adults only (18+).

We review all expressions of interest carefully and aim to create a balanced, safe, and supportive group.

Optional

If you have a short letter from a health professional confirming you are receiving support for cancer, you are welcome to include it - but this is completely optional. No details or medical information are required.

Coming Solo?

Please don’t let coming alone stop you.

Many adults who’ve already expressed interest are coming solo and we absolutely love that. You can move at your own pace, connect when you want, and know we’ll be right there if you need anything.

If you’ve been thinking about coming, we would truly love to have you there. If you have any questions, just email us - we’re always happy to chat through anything.
